Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, not arrogance. We don’t get to just stop by when we need something and expect to always get it the way we when it, and when we want it. God is not some genie in a magic lamp. He is not here to grant you wishes. He is also not heartless and loves you very much.
God wants to be a part of our life every single day, all day. He wants you to approach Him, even with your mess-ups. Oops, yep, I did do that are words He expects to hear out of your mouth. Out life is striving to be like Jesus, not expected to get it perfect all of the time. God is waiting with open arms to receive you and give you mercy. He is so willing to dust you off, dry your tears, and sent you right back out into the world again.
Our God is a very big God. He can handle anything you throw at Him. There is not a mess too big for Him to jump in and help you clean it up. You just have to be ready to approach the thrown with confidence knowing He is a mighty God and loves you very much.
