Do what you can do and then let go and let God! I know in some ways this may sound completely different than what you hear during most sermons. We are to hand everything over to God and let Him handle it all. Well, that is correct also. So, now you are like, really Tabetha? How and the heck are we supposed to do both?!?! Well, I am here to tell you how.
In today’s verse, it is like a soldier getting ready for battle. I want to put a different spin on it. You can also look at it like a baker making a cake. You get all your ingredients ready. You mix them all together and put them in the pan. What comes next, besides licking the bowl? Yes, you put it in the oven and wait. You have to let the oven do its thing.
We have responsibilities in life. God has given us things to do. When we have done everything within our possibilities, is when God takes over within the impossibilities. So, get your ingredients ready and mix your world up. God has the oven preheated!
