Psalms 147:4
He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.
I have been in love with this painting since I first laid eyes on it. I have tried to find the artist with no luck. It speaks so loudly to me. In the middle of my darkness I feel small and all alone. Yet, if I just look up I remember God determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. How much more does He love me than those stars. You see He sent Jesus and Jesus didn’t die for the stars. He died for you and me!
I certainly can’t name each star. I can’t even count them.. The greatest astrologist in the world with the most scientific equipment can’t either. Yet, My God hangs them.
No one is more powerful than God. He holds the universe in the palm of His hand. Not only does He know the names of the stars, but He knows mine too. He loves me so much that He gave His life for me. To Him I am so much bigger than a star! He loves me to the moon and back!
Lord thank You for loving me to the moon and back! ~amen
