John 8:31-32
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
I recently read a blog from Rebecca Barlow Jordan. She talked about the “six truths about God that can change your life.”
- God’s love is unfailing (Jeremiah 31:3)
- God’s character is unchangeable (James 1:17)
- God’s power is unlimited (Luke :37)
- God’s forgives absolutely (Micah 7:19)
- God’s promises are unending (Deuteronomy 7:9)
- God’s sovereignty is unexplainable (Romans 11:33)
Satan knows the danger in this information. He is doing everything he can to keep it from you. The minute you know and fully understand these truths you will forever be set free from his grasp. You will come to understand there is nothing Satan can do to you that God cannot see you through. There is no power that can enslave you anymore. Death is no longer you destination.
You are a child of God. He loves you with everything He has. This truth you need to know. This truth will set you free.
Lord, help me share Your truth to others so they may be set free. ~amen
