What’s Your Labor?

1 Timothy 4:10
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

What keeps you going? What gets you up every day? For some that is never an easy answer. For everyone at some point it is not an easy answer. I have been that person. I have faced death and wondered why bother taking one more breath. Thankfully when I was ready to throw in the towel, God threw it back at me and said, “Wipe off your face. You are not done yet.”

I know, I was blessed. Why others are not, I have no idea. It angers me to hear that someone took his or her life. My anger is not aimed at them it is focussed right where it belongs, Satan! The fact that he not only drove someone to that cliff, but then pushed them right over is infuriating!

This is why I strive and labor. I hang on to hope in God. My mission is to hang on tight to that hope so, I can be a lifeline for someone else. I want to be a hand that flies out to grab a wrist when Satan tries so hard to shove them over that cliff. I want to be God’s hands and feet. I want to be a lighthouse God shines through. How about you? What is your labor? Where can you be God’s hands and feet today?

Lord, thank You for putting thise people in my life to hold me when Satan tries to push and pull. Let me be that lifeline to someone else. ~amen
