Jeremiah 29:13
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Thoughts…
I once had a dog who loved to play hide and seek. No kidding! We taught him how to play. He would run to my mom and she would cover his eyes and count to twenty. He knew when he heard twenty he could bolt out of her arms and look for us all. The worst part about playing with a dog is he always won…LOL!
The greatest part about seeking God, is if you really want to find Him, you always will. He may be hidden from you, but He does not hide from you. If you can’t find Him, it is because you aren’t looking.
I am not saying there are not times when we feel like He isn’ there or isn’t listening to us. We all go through those dry lands in our lives. However, I want you to notice I said, “feel like”. Just because we don’t “feel like” He isn’t there does not mean He isn’t.
Jeremiah 29:11 is the famous verse about the plans God has for us. Plans to make us prosper and not harm us. When you feel like God isn’t there, you need to have faith and trust that He is and He has everything under control. .
My dog couldn’t see us either right away, but he had faith we were somewhere and was ready to find us. Have faith and you will find God! I promise He is right there waiting for you.
Prayer…
Lord, than you for always being there and in control. Even when I don’t see you right away, I have faith that you are there!
