I Love Fall

Today’s Scripture…

Hebrews 13:14-15

14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

Thoughts…

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the colors, smells, and cool weather. Watching the leaves fall reminds me everything here on Earth must change. Not even people are meant to remain the same.

We continue to grow, physically and spiritually. We should never stop striving for more that God has to offer. Seeking to get closer to Him is our goal. Hearing us cry out to Him for help and praising Him for all that He does for us is His greatest joy. Neither of those things can happen without our willingness to change.

So, when you look at the leaves changing colors and beginning to fall, think of how the trees are reminding you to praise God for change. Without it, we would never grow.
