Can You Hear Me Now

Psalms 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Although she has never said a word, most know her famous quote. The Statue of Liberty attempts to reminds Americans, we are a refuge for others. God’s miracles are all around us. Without saying a single word, life reminds us that God is our refuge. He created all, and nature is full of His wonders. We all are welcome. He is the light on the stand beckoning each of us home. He calls out to you to take refuge in Him. All you have to do is listen.
