Demolish the Enemy

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

pull or knock down (a building).:

comprehensively refute (an argument or its proponent).

overwhelmingly defeat (a player or team).

I don’t think any war ever starts out with, “Let’s Go Kill Each Other!” It almost always begins with someone’s feelings getting hurt. Then the anger grows and grows until the only way out seems to be to take up arms. This is why God specifically states we do not wage war as the world. God wants us to fight the fight at the source. Demolish it long before it ever gets to military personnel being involved. We may not be able to stop thoughts from entering our mind, but we can certainly stop them from taking root. We need to take arms today against the enemy! Use your weapons of prayer, faith, and hope. We will win this war!
