God is waiting to chat

2 Chronicles 7:14

Thoughts…

Have you ever tried to make a two year old do something they don’t want to do? Heck have you every tried to make anyone do something they didn’t want to do? How did that work out for you? I am guessing not so good.

God is a waiting God, not a pushing God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say He will make you do something you do not want to do. Nowhere does it say He will force you to follow Him, love Him, or even like Him. God simply says, ”if you seek me.”

He will never be an annoying telemarketer. He will not fill your email with SPAM. He won’t send you tons of junk mail that killed millions of trees for no reason.

God just waits. He sits on the edge of His seat waiting to hear you call His name. He holds His breath waiting for you to search for Him. He is waiting now to swoop in and scoop you up in a big hug. He is like a child on Christmas morning. He is waiting for you to come home and chat over a cup of coffee (or tea).
